The Brand

Mothers of all demographics need help from time to time balancing work, home, and childcare, and in difficult and unpredictable situations. Moms often struggle to find reliable, affordable help for tasks like carpooling, babysitting, and housekeeping. Traditional services can be expensive or unavailable, leaving many mothers overwhelmed and stressed, but many mothers don't feel right applying for services that they very well may need. As around two-thirds of Americans identify as Christian, and one-quarter of the population is Catholic, many problems for moms of these demographics involve raising children according to their beliefs in a contrary society, as well as being able to provide themselves with appropriate peer support. The challenge for Mothership was to create a human-centered brand and platform that connects mothers to a trustworthy network, enabling them to share and manage everyday responsibilities in a supportive environment.

The Solution

Mothership offers a community-driven platform where mothers can connect, share resources, and exchange services like carpooling, babysitting, and household tasks. Beyond a simple social media community, the site is a non-profit 501(c)3 network that fosters trust and provides necessary services to all mothers, empowering users to manage daily responsibilities efficiently, reduce stress effectively, and seek caring, reliable help. Mothership encourages collaboration, enabling mothers to both give and receive support while creating a stronger sense of community. It addresses the need for balance in a busy lifestyle by making trusted, shared resources easily accessible.
